INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO UPDATE ZAAP TV X SET TOP BOX

Update instructions if your Zaap TV X is either frozen or not operating correctly.

Download and copy to a USB stick the latest firmware from here: https://tinyurl.com/y7a6z9ys

Check the picture the picture below to see how to acces the diagnostic screen.

1. Keep the highlighted button pressed with the device unplugged from ac power and plug the power cord and slowly count to 10.
   It should boot to recovery and you can flash the latest firmware and do a factory reset.
2. Connect the USB with the downloaded file.
3. In the diagnostic screen select Apply update from EXT.
4. Select Update from udisk and then select the file zaaptv-ota-20170206.zip
5. Wait until the update process is finished.
