Well this was a doddle to install no complications it was up and running in 20 minutes and I am nearly 86 years old. Picture quality and sound are great and so was the service (next day delivery) Only 1 fault, no epg, this can be a problem finding out what is on, has anyone any suggestions?

Out of the box, it certainly does what is said here. I had everything working correctly in about a quarter of an hour, including reading the instructions (quite a few errors in the French!) and making a few mistakes. The receiver almost sets itself up, taking a few minutes to find all the channels and then leading you to a choice of Fransat menus where the channels you can receive are in the order that you would normally find them on a French TV. In fact, you have a total of 53, if you include all the regional variations of France 3, which are good for local news in different accents. The software is updated from the Atlantic Bird 3 satellite, a good feature.
As a satellite receiver, it is fairly basic. The connection ports are entirely adequate. It appears from the instructions that, if you have a mobile dish, you can daisy-chain the LNB input from the receiver-positioner. When you work out value for money, you have to factor in the requirement to visit France and supply a French address.
