The BWare RX6900 is a super compact full featured full HD 1080p high definition digital satellite receiver from established manufacturer BWare part of Digiquest Electronics and comes highly recommended by Pulsat. Tiny in size this budget priced high definition digital set top box is packed full of features including a super fast hardware blind scan function, built-in multi-CAS card reader slot, massive 4000 channel memory, DiSEqC1.2 positioner (USALS), 2xUSB for software uprade, wireless networking via USB dongle provided and PVR recording. With its included WiFi dongle the BWare RX6900 is network ready for connecting to online functions such as YouTube or for viewing your netowrk stored media instantly due to the RX6900's DLNA compatibility.

The included plug-in infra-red sensor allows the user to place the set top box out sight for a neat and tidy installation plus the 12 volt power supply makes the RX6900 the perfect choice for motorhome or caravan. Check out our test bench pictures above.

The RX6900 is similar to the RX7900 except for its networking capabilities are limited to wifi (wifi dongle included) whereas the RX7900 has a built-in ethernet socket for wired networking. As a satellite receiver the capabilities of both the RX6900 and RX7900 are identical.

The multi-CAS embedded card reader is compatible with the majority of encryption systems out there, including Viaccess and Irdeto, making it a good contender for use with most of the viewing cards found on our site.
