The MAG 254 is an IP based set top box solution made by European manufacturer Infomir.

The MAG 254 is used for the IP reception of Over The Top (OTT).

The MAG 254 is a unique open platform set top box that allows for the playback of live video streaming, Video on Demand streaming, Audio Streaming (such as radio) as well as local video and audio playback from the two embedded USB ports.

It supports multiple streaming codecs and transport layers, with the added support of playback delay, subtitles and multiple audio tracks.
