The all-new Manhattan S4-R Freesat Recorder brings together live television, recording and on-demand streaming in one easy-to-use receiver, with no monthly subscription required.

Simply connect to your existing satellite dish to enjoy over 100 free-to-air Freesat channels, including more than 35 in HD. Connect to your home broadband via Wi-Fi or Ethernet to access popular catch-up and streaming services including BBC iPlayer, ITVX, Channel 4, My5 and YouTube, all seamlessly integrated into the user interface.

The S4-R is designed to fit around your schedule. With a compatible wideband satellite installation (such as a Sky Q dish), it can record up to four programmes simultaneously while you watch another recording or live TV. Standard universal LNB installations can record up to two programmes at once.

The built-in 500GB hard drive stores up to 300 hours of recordings, allowing you to pause and rewind live television for up to two hours, record complete series and build your own personal library of entertainment.

Finding something to watch is quick and intuitive. The intelligent search function looks across live television and supported on-demand apps from a single search, while the flexible programme guide lets you browse by channel, genre or traditional grid view, as well as scroll backwards to catch up on recently broadcast programmes.

Powered by a responsive quad-core processor, the Manhattan S4-R delivers fast channel changes, smooth menu navigation and rapid app loading. It also supports 4K HDR output for compatible content available through BBC iPlayer and YouTube.
