International Satellite Television

In addition to the Spanish television service, a selection of international free-to-air channels can be received via the ASTRA 19.2° East satellite position.

Examples include BBC News, CNN International, France 24, TV5MONDE Europe, NHK World Japan, Al Jazeera English, TRT World, CGTN, Arirang TV and other international television services.

These channels are broadcast independently of the ASTRA TV subscription service and remain subject to the broadcasters' transmission arrangements.

12 Months Official ASTRA TV Service Included

This receiver is supplied with an initial 12 months of ASTRA TV service, providing access to the supported encrypted Spanish television channels following successful service activation.

ASTRA TV operates its own service entitlement and activation arrangements, with access managed through the receiver's integrated conditional access system.

No separate viewing card or CI+ module is necessary.

Please note: ASTRA TV has introduced alternative payment arrangements, including a one-off payment option. The conditions applicable to this particular 12-month receiver package have not yet been confirmed beyond the initial service period.

Continued access following the included 12 months will depend on the service provider's applicable renewal or entitlement arrangements. Lifetime or permanent subscription-free access is not included as a stated feature of this package.

Simple Installation & Automatic Channel Setup

The ASTRA TV receiver is designed for straightforward installation with a suitable satellite dish aligned to ASTRA 19.2° East.

Connect the receiver to your satellite dish using the F-type satellite input and connect the HDMI output to your television.

The receiver is factory-configured for a standard Universal LNB. Alternative antenna settings can be selected where necessary to suit the satellite installation.

Initial Receiver Setup

1. Switch on the receiver. Allow the ASTRA logo animation to finish and wait for the receiver's Home screen to appear.
2. Open Settings. Select the Settings icon from the Home screen or press the OPTIONS button on the remote control.
3. Check antenna configuration. Navigate to SETUP / ANTENNA CONFIGURATION and confirm that the LNB settings correspond to your satellite installation. The default setting is Universal LNB.
4. Start automatic installation. Navigate to SETUP / SERVICE INSTALLATION, select INSTANT SET UP and press OK.
5. Download the channel list. The receiver automatically downloads the available channel list directly from the satellite.
6. Select the Spanish channels. Choose "Listado de canales España", then select SPAIN from the available region list.
7. Complete installation. Confirm the Spanish channel list by pressing OK. The receiver automatically tunes to the first channel, La 1 UHD.

No manual entry of individual satellite frequencies is required for a standard installation.

An active ASTRA TV service entitlement is required to view the encrypted channels.

A suitable satellite dish, satellite coaxial cable and HDMI cable may be required depending on your existing installation. These are not included unless otherwise specified.

Important Information

Satellite Dish Required: This receiver requires a suitable satellite dish aligned to ASTRA 19.2° East. An aerial used for UK Freeview television is not suitable.

Satellite Position: ASTRA TV uses ASTRA 19.2° East. This is different from the ASTRA 28.2° East position used by UK Freesat and Sky. An existing UK Freesat or Sky dish may need realignment or an additional LNB to receive ASTRA TV.

Internet Connection: An internet connection is not required for receiving the satellite television broadcasts. Certain account management or service activation functions may require internet access.

Service Activation: The included 12-month entitlement is subject to the official ASTRA TV activation and eligibility requirements.

Geographical Restrictions: ASTRA TV is officially marketed for residential television reception within Spain. Customers outside Spain should confirm their eligibility for service activation and use before purchasing.

Subscription: The supplied package includes 12 months of service. Renewal or continued service arrangements beyond this period are determined by ASTRA TV.
