Would you like us to set it up for you? If so, please select the 'Pre-tuned...' option above before clicking 'Add To Cart' and we will update the software if required, set-up the box and scan the Tivusat channels. You will receive a unit ready to connect to your existing Hotbird dish, just Plug and Play. There is a no charge for this service.

The Digiquest AX3 is a new generation official Tivusat 4K UHD satellite receiver combining Tivusat, Android TV and a DVB-T2 terrestrial tuner in one box.

Supplied with the included Tivusat smartcard already activated, the AX3 is ready to receive the extensive range of free Italian Tivusat television and radio channels broadcast from the Hotbird satellites at 13° East, including HD and available 4K Ultra HD services.

Where the AX3 differs from a conventional Tivusat receiver is its integrated Android TV platform. Connect the receiver to the internet by Wi-Fi or Ethernet and Android TV adds access to the Google Play Store, allowing compatible TV, streaming, entertainment and other applications to be installed directly onto the receiver.

Google Assistant is also built in. The supplied 2-in-1 remote control incorporates a microphone for voice commands, allowing you to search for channels, apps and content using your voice. The remote can also be configured to operate the main functions of your television.

Built-in Google Cast provides another convenient way to enjoy content, allowing compatible photos, video, music and other media to be cast from a smartphone, tablet or computer directly to your television through the AX3.

Tivusat and UK terrestrial TV from one receiver

In addition to its DVB-S2 satellite tuner, the Digiquest AX3 incorporates a DVB-T2 terrestrial tuner. For customers in the UK this means that, when connected to a suitable TV aerial, the receiver can also tune UK terrestrial television channels alongside Tivusat.

This makes the AX3 particularly useful where you would prefer a single receiver for both Italian Tivusat satellite television and basic UK terrestrial TV reception.

Please note: although UK terrestrial channels can be received and viewed, the AX3 is not a UK Freeview-certified receiver and should not be considered a replacement for a full Freeview/Freeview Play receiver. UK programme guide and interactive functionality may therefore be more limited.

Android TV & streaming services in the UK

The AX3 is an Italian-market Tivusat receiver with the official Android TV platform and Google Play Store. A number of streaming applications are supplied or available for the receiver, including services such as YouTube, Prime Video, RaiPlay and Mediaset Infinity.

Please note: App availability and the ability to view content can depend on your location and the individual streaming provider. Some Italian online services, including RaiPlay and Mediaset Infinity, may be geographically restricted and may not operate normally from a UK internet connection. We therefore cannot guarantee the availability or operation of individual third-party Android TV apps or streaming services in the UK. This restriction applies to internet-delivered services only and does not affect reception of the Tivusat satellite television channels using the supplied activated smartcard.
