The Primesat PR400C is a professional-quality Quad C-Band LNBF designed for reliable reception of C-band satellite services across the 3.4GHz to 4.2GHz frequency range. With four independent outputs, it allows up to four satellite receivers or tuners to operate simultaneously, making it ideal for multi-room installations, commercial systems and enthusiasts requiring independent receiver operation.
Unlike traditional single polarity C-band LNBs, the PR400C operates like a conventional Ku-band quad LNB. Each output independently switches between horizontal and vertical polarisation using the standard 13V/18V supplied by the connected satellite receiver, allowing each receiver to select its own channel without affecting the others.
The integrated feedhorn simplifies installation on compatible prime focus C-band dishes, while the low 13K noise temperature, high 65dB typical gain and excellent phase noise performance provide outstanding sensitivity for weak C-band satellite signals.
Supplied with a dielectric plate, the PR400C can be used with both linear and circularly polarised C-band satellites, making it suitable for installations throughout the world.

Dielectric Plate Included
The PR400C is supplied complete with a dielectric plate, allowing it to be used with satellites transmitting either linear or circularly polarised C-band signals.
Linear Polarisation (Horizontal & Vertical)
Most C-band satellites transmit horizontal and vertical (linear) polarisation. In these installations the dielectric plate is not required, and leaving it out can provide slightly lower insertion loss for optimum performance.
Circular Polarisation (Left-Hand & Right-Hand)
Some C-band satellites transmit left-hand or right-hand circular polarisation. In these cases the supplied dielectric plate should be fitted inside the feedhorn. The plate converts the circularly polarised signal into a format that the LNBF can receive correctly.
Mixed Polarisation Satellites
Where a satellite carries both linear and circularly polarised transponders, a correctly installed dielectric plate allows reception of both signal types.
The dielectric plate is included as standard, allowing the PR400C to be configured for a wide range of C-band satellite systems worldwide.
