ADD SKY Q™ COMPATIBILITY TO A STANDARD QUAD OR QUATTRO LNB SYSTEM

The TRIAX TMDS-42C is a retrofit dSCR multiswitch designed to add Sky Q™ compatibility to an existing satellite installation using a standard Quad or Quattro LNB.

For example, if you have a conventional 60cm, 80cm or 1m satellite dish fitted with a Quad or Quattro LNB, the TMDS-42C allows you to connect Sky Q™ equipment without having to replace the dish or LNB with a dedicated Sky Q™ LNB.

How does it work?

Simply connect the four feeds from your existing Quad or Quattro LNB to the TMDS-42C. The unit then provides four satellite outputs:

2 x dSCR / Legacy outputs – automatically support either Sky Q™ or conventional satellite receivers such as Freesat and Sky+HD.
2 x Legacy outputs – for conventional satellite receivers and equipment.

This makes the TMDS-42C particularly useful where you want to add Sky Q™ to an existing satellite distribution system while retaining compatibility with standard satellite equipment.

The unit can also be used as a retrofit dSCR add-on for existing multiswitch and optical converter installations, making it suitable for both domestic and multi-dwelling (MDU) systems.

Please note: The TMDS-42C requires a 20V power supply (PSU) to operate. The PSU is available separately here.
